Safety, Trust, Incident Reporting & Platform Role Policy

SITREADYSAFETY, TRUST, INCIDENT REPORTING & PLATFORM ROLE POLICY

1. ABOUT THIS POLICY

This Safety, Trust, Incident Reporting & Platform Role Policy establishes SitReady’s core safety expectations, explains how serious childcare incidents should be handled and reported, and describes SitReady’s limited role as the technology marketplace through which Parents and independent Sitters connect and arrange childcare.SitReady provides Platform tools including profiles, availability, Booking functionality, messaging, payment processing, screening-status indicators, reviews, support, and safety reporting. SitReady does not itself provide the childcare services performed during a Booking.

2. SITREADY’S MARKETPLACE ROLE

Childcare services arranged through SitReady are provided directly by the Sitter to the Parent and Child.SitReady does not ordinarily remain present during a Booking and does not directly supervise the Sitter’s day-to-day childcare decisions.Sitters are independent providers and are not SitReady employees. They decide when to make themselves available and which Booking opportunities to accept or decline, subject to SitReady’s applicable eligibility, conduct, and safety requirements.SitReady’s ability to establish Platform rules, require screening, process payments, investigate complaints, restrict Accounts, or provide support does not make SitReady the provider or direct supervisor of the underlying childcare services.

3. PARENT SELECTION AND USER INFORMATION

Parents are responsible for determining whether a particular Sitter is appropriate for their Child and family.Parents should consider available: • profile information; • childcare experience; • qualifications; • reviews; • screening status; • availability; • rates; and • other information relevant to their childcare needs. Much of the information displayed in User profiles is supplied by Users. Although Users are required to provide truthful information, SitReady cannot guarantee that every User-provided statement, credential, description, preference, photograph, experience claim, or availability entry is complete, current, or accurate unless SitReady expressly states that the particular information has been independently verified.

4. SCREENING AND REVIEWS ARE NOT GUARANTEES

Background screening and identity verification are additional safety measures and are not guarantees of present or future conduct.A screening badge indicates only that the Sitter completed the applicable SitReady screening process and satisfied SitReady’s eligibility requirements at the time the status was issued.Reviews and ratings reflect individual User experiences and opinions.Neither a favorable review nor a screening status constitutes a SitReady certification, warranty, endorsement, or guarantee that a Sitter will be safe, reliable, compatible, or suitable for every family.Detailed screening requirements are governed by SitReady’s Background Check & Screening Policy.

5. IMMEDIATE EMERGENCIES

If a Child or another person is: • in immediate danger; • seriously injured; • missing; • unresponsive; • experiencing a medical emergency; • threatened with violence; or • otherwise in need of urgent assistance, Users should contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service first.SitReady Support is not an emergency dispatch center, medical service, law-enforcement agency, fire department, or child-protection hotline. After immediate safety needs have been addressed, the incident should be reported to SitReady when required by this Policy.

6. CORE CHILD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

During a Booking, the Sitter must make the Child’s immediate safety and reasonable supervision a primary priority.A Sitter must not knowingly: • abandon a Child; • leave a Child without an authorized responsible adult; or • expose a Child to an avoidable serious hazard. Parents must provide a reasonably safe care environment and accurate information materially necessary for safe care, including relevant: • allergies; • health or medication information; • disabilities or accommodations; • emergency contacts; • authorized pickup persons; and • known hazards. Neither a Parent nor a Sitter is required to remain in an immediately dangerous situation solely to preserve a Booking, payment, rating, or Account standing.

7. SAFE CARE ENVIRONMENT AND MATERIAL HAZARDS

Parents should disclose and appropriately secure known material hazards, including: • unsecured firearms or weapons; • dangerous medications or controlled substances; • hazardous chemicals; • unsafe water hazards; • aggressive animals; • serious structural or electrical hazards; • illegal activity; or • other conditions that could create a significant risk. A Sitter who encounters an undisclosed serious hazard may decline to begin care or may end the Booking when reasonably necessary for safety.A serious safety concern should also be reported to SitReady.

8. SITTER FITNESS AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Sitters must arrive capable of providing attentive and safe childcare.A Sitter may not provide care while materially impaired by: • alcohol; • illegal drugs; • extreme fatigue; or • another condition that prevents safe supervision. The following conduct toward a Child is prohibited: • physical abuse; • sexual abuse or misconduct; • exploitation; • neglect; • abandonment; • threats; • inappropriate physical punishment; and • other abusive conduct. Sitters may not expose a Child to pornography, sexual activity, illegal drugs, dangerous weapons, criminal activity, or other clearly inappropriate or dangerous conduct.

9. UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS AND CHILD RELEASE

A Sitter may not bring an unauthorized person into the care location or transfer supervision of a Child to another person without Parent authorization, except when emergency assistance is reasonably necessary. Parents should identify authorized pickup persons and communicate any known release restrictions.A Sitter should not release a Child to an unknown or unauthorized person merely because that person claims to know the family.SitReady does not determine legal custody or visitation rights. Users remain responsible for complying with valid court orders and applicable law.

10. MISSING CHILD OR SUSPECTED ABDUCTION

If a Child cannot be located or an abduction is suspected, the Sitter should take immediate reasonable action without placing other Children at risk. The Sitter should promptly contact 911 or local law enforcement when appropriate. The Parent should be notified as soon as reasonably possible after emergency authorities are contacted. The incident must also be reported to SitReady after immediate emergency actions have been taken.

11. MEDICAL, MEDICATION, AND SPECIALIZED CARE

SitReady is not a medical or healthcare provider and does not provide: • diagnosis; • treatment; • nursing services; • emergency medical services; or • professional healthcare advice. A Sitter should administer medication only when:1.the Parent has provided clear authorization and instructions; and 2.the Sitter has agreed to perform that responsibility. Sitters should not: • change medication dosages; • provide another person’s prescription medication; • diagnose medical conditions; or • perform medical procedures outside their qualifications. For serious injuries, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, seizure, severe allergic reaction, suspected poisoning, significant bleeding, possible head or spinal injury, or another potentially life-threatening condition, Users should contact emergency medical services rather than waiting for SitReady. Parents requiring licensed nursing, therapy, home health, or other regulated professional services are responsible for selecting an appropriately qualified provider.Ordinary SitReady Platform eligibility or a screening badge does not establish a professional healthcare qualification.

12. TRANSPORTATION, WATER, AND OTHER HIGHER

-RISK ACTIVITIESTransportation, swimming, boating, recreational vehicles, trampolines, and other higher-risk activities are not automatically included in every Booking. For such activities: • the Parent must authorize the activity; • the Sitter must agree to perform it; and • applicable legal and safety requirements must be followed. For transportation, legally required child restraints must be appropriate and available.A Sitter must not knowingly transport a Child while impaired or in a vehicle the Sitter reasonably believes is unsafe.Parents should disclose pools, hot tubs, ponds, canals, waterfront access, and other significant water hazards relevant to the Booking.A Sitter is not required to perform a higher-risk activity merely because the activity is available at the care location.

13. ABUSE, NEGLECT, AND MANDATORY REPORTING

Users must not abuse, neglect, exploit, endanger, or facilitate the abuse or exploitation of a Child. A User who knows or reasonably suspects child abuse, abandonment, neglect, sexual abuse, exploitation, or other reportable maltreatment must comply with applicable reporting laws.A report to SitReady does not replace a legally required report to a child-protection agency or law-enforcement authority. If a Child is in immediate danger, contact 911 first.

14. SERIOUS INCIDENTS THAT SHOULD BE REPORTED TO SITREADY

After immediate emergency responsibilities have been addressed, Parents and Sitters should promptly report serious Booking-related safety incidents to SitReady. Examples include: • a missing or suspected abducted Child; • death or serious injury; • emergency medical treatment; • suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or sexual misconduct; • threats or violence; • an impaired caregiver; • a serious unauthorized-person incident; • a significant undisclosed environmental hazard; • law-enforcement or child-protection involvement; • a significant vehicle collision during authorized transportation; • abandonment of an active Booking; or • another event that could materially affect Child or User safety.

15. INCIDENT REPORTS AND EVIDENCE

Users should provide truthful and reasonably complete information concerning a serious incident, including, where applicable: • the Booking involved; • approximate date and time; • what occurred; • who was present; • immediate actions taken; • whether emergency authorities were contacted; and • other information reasonably necessary to understand the event. Users should preserve relevant messages, photographs, documents, reports, or other records when lawful and reasonably necessary.Users may not fabricate, alter, conceal, or intentionally misrepresent material evidence.

16. SITREADY SAFETY REVIEW

SitReady may review serious safety reports using relevant: • Account information; • Booking records; • in-platform messages; • incident reports; • screening status; • prior safety reports; and • other information reasonably related to the incident. SitReady may request additional information and may temporarily restrict an Account or particular Platform features while a potentially serious safety concern is being reviewed. SitReady’s internal review is conducted for Platform safety and policy enforcement. It is not a substitute for: • a police investigation; • child-protection investigation; • medical evaluation; • court proceeding; or • other official process. When relevant to a serious safety incident, SitReady may also review available arrival/check-in and departure/check-out verification records.SitReady’s location-verification feature is limited to verifying arrival and departure around the beginning and end of a Booking and is not intended to continuously track a Sitter throughout the Booking.

17. SAFETY ENFORCEMENT

Depending on the nature, severity, credibility, and available evidence concerning a safety incident, SitReady may: • take no action; • issue a warning; • require additional verification or screening; • restrict Platform features; • cancel future Bookings; • suspend an Account; or • terminate Platform access. A temporary restriction does not necessarily mean that SitReady has concluded that misconduct occurred.

18. COOPERATION WITH AUTHORITIES

SitReady may preserve or disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.Where appropriate, SitReady may cooperate with: • law enforcement; • emergency responders; • child-protection authorities; • courts; • regulators; and • other authorized entities regarding serious safety or legal matters. No SitReady policy, payment issue, confidentiality expectation, or private agreement between Users prevents a person from contacting emergency services or making a report to an authority when that person has a legal right or obligation to do so.

19. PRIVACY, RETALIATION, AND GOOD

-FAITH REPORTSSafety reports and related personal information are handled in accordance with SitReady’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.SitReady cannot promise complete confidentiality when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to: • protect a Child or another person; • investigate serious misconduct; or • cooperate with an authorized authority. Users may not threaten, harass, intimidate, punish, or retaliate against another person for: • making a good-faith safety report; • contacting emergency services; • reporting suspected abuse or neglect; or • cooperating with an investigation. A safety report does not need to be proven before it is submitted in good faith.Intentionally fabricated or malicious reports are prohibited.

20. NO GUARANTEE OF CHILDCARE OUTCOMES

Childcare involves human judgment, changing circumstances, and risks that cannot be completely eliminated.SitReady does not guarantee that a Child will: • remain illness-free or injury-free; • behave or sleep in a particular manner; • enjoy a particular activity; • achieve a particular developmental outcome; or • have any particular experience during a Booking. Nothing in this Policy excuses a User from responsibility for negligence, misconduct, unsafe behavior, or other obligations imposed by applicable law.

21. NO GUARANTEE OF AVAILABILITY OR COMPATIBILITY

SitReady does not guarantee that a Sitter will be available for any particular: • date; • time; • location; • duration; • rate; • Child; • care requirement; • Instant Booking; or • last-minute request. SitReady also does not guarantee that every Parent and Sitter will be personally compatible or that an accepted Sitter will never become unavailable because of illness, emergency, transportation problems, severe weather, Account restrictions, or other circumstances.

22. HOME AND PROPERTY LIMITATIONS

SitReady does not routinely inspect every: • home; • hotel; • vacation rental; • event venue; • vehicle; or • other care location before a Booking.Parents and Sitters remain responsible for their own money, keys, vehicles, electronics, documents, jewelry, equipment, and other personal property.Suspected theft, fraud, or intentional property damage may be reported to SitReady and, when appropriate, law enforcement.

23. THIRD

-PARTY AND TECHNICAL SERVICESSitReady may rely on independent third-party providers for: • payment processing; • identity verification; • background screening; • hosting; • communications; • mapping; • analytics; and • other Platform functions. Those services may have their own terms, privacy practices, availability limitations, and technical limitations. SitReady does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website, application, messaging, payment, notification, or Booking functionality.Users should not rely on SitReady communications as the sole method of obtaining emergency assistance.

24. PAYMENT PROCESSING AND SAFETY

-RELATED ADJUSTMENTSSitReady’s facilitation of Parent payments and Sitter payouts does not make SitReady the provider of the underlying childcare services. When a Booking is interrupted, cancelled, or ended because of a serious safety concern, SitReady may review the circumstances before determining the final Parent refund, Sitter compensation, or other applicable adjustment.Payment-related rules are governed by SitReady’s Payment, Fees, Refunds, Cancellations & No-Show Policy.

25. INSURANCE AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Unless SitReady expressly states otherwise for a specific program or Booking, Users should not assume that SitReady provides: • personal automobile insurance; • homeowners insurance; • renters insurance; • health insurance; • workers’ compensation coverage; • professional liability insurance; or • other insurance coverage for losses arising from a Booking.Parents and Sitters are responsible for complying with laws applicable to their own conduct and childcare arrangements, including requirements concerning: • safety; • transportation; • mandatory reporting; • taxes; • licensing; and • regulated professional services. SitReady Platform eligibility is not a legal opinion that a User may perform every possible childcare-related task in every jurisdiction.

26. LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY AS PERMITTED BY LAW

Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive, exclude, or limit any right, duty, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be waived, excluded, or limited.Any disclaimer or limitation contained in this Policy applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

27. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER SITREADY POLICIES

This Policy supplements SitReady’s Terms of Service and other applicable Platform policies.More specific policies govern matters including: • background screening; • privacy; • payments and cancellations; • prohibited Platform conduct; and • other specialized Platform requirements. This Policy does not replace those detailed policies and is intended to operate together with them.

28. CHANGES AND CONTACT

SitReady may update this Policy from time to time as its services, safety practices, Platform features, or legal obligations change.Non-emergency safety concerns and questions concerning SitReady’s Platform role may be submitted through SitReady Support. For immediate danger or urgent medical, fire, or law-enforcement assistance, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.
